By articling with the Superior Court of Ontario, Bryce Chandler has a gained a unique perspective of the legal process. Bryce had the opportunity to work “behind the scenes” with the judiciary learning the ins and outs of litigation and argument preparation. While his main interest lies in Labour Law, Personal Employment Law and Education Law, Bryce’s Articles of Clerkship sharpened his research and writing skills while honing his ability to assess and solve legal questions and critically examine every area of law that comes before the Superior Court, from employment and tort law to private and commercial international law, as well as the captivating and fast-paced area of construction liens.
Before his articles, Bryce completed his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Windsor where he received several awards including top performance in both Tax and Labour Law. Bryce was also awarded rookie-of-the-year in varsity rugby and was an Academic All-Canadian during his last year of law.
Bryce was a naval signalman in the Royal Canadian Navy, which taught him discipline, and assertiveness, and to actively assess situations when delegating authority and responsibility. Subsequently, as a sales representative for Molson Breweries, Bryce learned to cultivate business relationships with different people in varied settings. The culmination of these two experiences, among others, has readied him for practice in law.
Bryce’s hobbies include snowboarding and weight lifting, both of which he does with his wife, Krista.
