Originally from Nova Scotia, Megan completed her undergraduate education at Dalhousie University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op), with distinction. Following graduation, Megan moved to Alberta where she worked as Marketing Manager for a software company for almost two years prior to returning to school to complete her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School.
While at Osgoode, Megan was very involved in student life, playing intra-mural sports, volunteering at the school’s legal aid clinic, and representing Osgoode at the Arnup Cup in 2006. The law school recognized Megan’s achievements and awarded her the Honourable William G.C. Howland Award of Excellence Renewable Entrance Scholarship, the Osler Hoskin and Harcourt prize in Labour Relations Law, the Beard Winter LLP prize (in Trial Practice) and the Helen Grossman, Q.C. prize in the Community & Legal Aid Services Programme.
Megan completed her articles at Shibley Righton and following her call to the bar, returned to the firm as a litigation associate in the summer of 2007.
