Megan Marrie

Partner

Megan completed her undergraduate education at Dalhousie University, earning a B. Comm. (Co-op) with distinction, in addition to numerous awards and scholarships. She then moved to Alberta where she worked as Marketing Manager for a software company before returning to school to complete her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. While at Osgoode, she won several more awards and scholarships. More recently, Megan returned to Osgoode and earned a Master of Laws specializing in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution.

Megan articled at Shibley Righton and maintains a litigation practice with a focus in professional liability, construction law, education law, commercial litigation and condominium law. She has significant advocacy experience, and has represented clients before administrative tribunals and before all levels of court in Ontario. This includes the Ontario Special Education Tribunal, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and Court of Appeal. She has also appeared before the Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench.

She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, and Advocates’ Society. Megan is also an amateur musician (she plays the alto saxophone in a not-for-profit community concert band) and an avid runner, having completed many half-marathons and a full marathon.
