Prince died on April 21, 2016 at his home in Minnesota without a will and with an estate worth an estimated US$300 million. The late musician didn't have children and his parents are deceased so, according to the rules of intestacy, his estate will pass to his siblings. However, at least 35 people have come forward since his death claiming they are his half-siblings.

According to a CBC report, Minnesota judge Kevin Eide has dismissed the claims of 29 people claiming to be Prince’s siblings, and ordered six to undergo genetic testing to determine whether they are in fact related to him.

What if Prince had died in Ontario?
