The 2nd Annual Ovarian Cancer Awareness Gala was held in Windsor, Ontario, on Saturday, April 21st and Shibley Righton was once again a proud sponsor of the event. Sheila MacKinnon, partner with the Firm, was a member of the organizing committee. The Firm remembers with much fondness its former colleague Diane (Favot) Abbey, who lost her battle with ovarian cancer on April 4, 2010. Diane was featured in a recent article in the Windsor Star that appeared on April 15, 2012: "On behalf of a cancer fighter"
