Jacqueline L. King
Jacqueline L. King is a Partner in the Commercial Litigation Group at Shibley Righton. Her experience includes multimillion Fraud Recovery in Securities Investments, Shareholder Disputes and Oppression Remedies, as well as Contract, Estate, Trust, Insurance and Employment Litigation.
Jacquie has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal, the Courts of Appeal in New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and trial level courts in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. Jacquie is a frequent commentator on legal matters, and chairs and conducts seminars on subjects ranging from fraud investigation to evidence and litigation strategy and acts as both a Mediator and Arbitrator on all matters.
Jacquie is certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario and has been ranked AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. She is also a member of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society whose membership is by invitation.
Jacquie is a former Executive and Council Member of the Ontario Bar Association. She was Vice-Chair and Chair of the Supreme Court of Canada Liaison Committee (CBA).
