Philip Kubiak
Philip is a litigation associate at Shibley Righton LLP. Philip’s practice focuses on Civil and Commercial Litigation, including disputes involving contracts, construction law, estate litigation and professional liability.
Before joining Shibley Righton, Philip articled and practiced civil litigation law at a boutique law firm in Ottawa. Philip has experience representing clients before various Administrative Tribunals, Ontario Courts, and the Federal Court.
Philip obtained his law degree from the University of Alberta in 2021. During law school, Philip was a volunteer with Pro-Bono Students Canada assisting with Civil Claims Duty Counsel.
Prior to law school, Philip attended Wilfrid Laurier University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Philosophy.
Outside of his professional life, Philip enjoys travelling, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
