Welcoming Philip Kubiak to Shibley Righton LLP

We are pleased to announce that Philip Kubiak has joined Shibley Righton LLP as an associate.

Philip’s practice focuses on Civil and Commercial Litigation, handling disputes involving contracts, construction law, estate litigation, and professional liability.

Before joining Shibley Righton, Philip articled and practiced civil litigation at a boutique law firm in Ottawa. He has represented clients before various Administrative Tribunals, Ontario Courts, and the Federal Court, gaining valuable experience in complex litigation matters.

Philip obtained his law degree from the University of Alberta in 2021, where he was an active volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, assisting with Civil Claims Duty Counsel. Prior to law school, he earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Outside of the office, Philip enjoys traveling, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Welcome, Philip!
