The Osgoode Professional Development Program is holding its annual conference on “The Legal Guide to Human Resource Issues in K-12 Education” in Toronto, on Monday, November 17, 2014. Shibley Righton’s Paul Howard, Managing Partner of the Firm’s Windsor office, will be speaking on the topic of “Human Rights and Accommodations,” examining the implications of the Ontario Human Rights Code on the employment practices of school boards. On Friday, November 14, 2014, Paul is presenting at a professional development conference of the Greater Essex County District School Board for all of the Vice-Principals in the board’s school system, to be held in Chatham. Paul will be speaking on the topic of “Special Education Issues for School Administrators.”
