Shibley Righton LLP is a proud sponsor of a Special Event to honour Chancellor Ed Lumley in celebration of the University of Windsor's 50th Anniversary
May 30, 2012

In furtherance of its unique relationship with the University of Windsor, Shibley Righton LLP is pleased to support a special event to spark the University's 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2013/14. Mr. Ed Lumley, Chancellor of the University of Windsor, is the guest of honour at a roast to be held on May 30, 2012, at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto. Proceeds from the event will help fund the University's new Centre for Engineering Innovation, opening this fall. An alumnus of the University (B. Comm. 1961), a cabinet minister in the Canadian governments of Pierre Trudeau and John Turner, and a businessman, Mr. Lumley became Chancellor of the University of Windsor in 2006. More than 500 will be in attendance, from former Prime Ministers to CEOs of national corporations, all to have a good-natured laugh at the expense of one of Canada’s most influential leaders. Partners Sheila MacKinnon (2nd Vice Chair of the University's Board of Governors), Sandra Dawe, and Paul Howard are pleased to attend on behalf of Shibley Righton to help celebrate the University's important initiatives.
