The Ontario Public School Boards’ Association is holding its 24th Annual General Meeting and Program in Thunder Bay on June 7-9, 2012. Sheila MacKinnon, Partner with the Firm, will be speaking on the topics of “Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy” on June 8th and on “The Role of the Student Trustee” on June 9th.

Paul Howard, also a Partner, will be speaking on the topic of “Update on Current Legal Issues in Education Law” on June 8th. OPSBA represents public district school boards and public school authorities across Ontario, which together serve more than 1.3 million public elementary and secondary students.
