Alexa Faria
Associate
Alexa Faria is a litigation associate in the Civil and Commercial Litigation group at Shibley Righton LLP. She articled with the firm and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025.
Alexa earned her Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law in 2024. During law school, she served as Co-President of the Innocence Project and contributed to the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, where she supported women facing violence and systemic barriers. In her final year, she completed her Integrated Practice Curriculum (IPC) placement at the Superior Court of Justice, working closely with judges while gaining firsthand experience in the judicial system and complex trial proceedings.
Prior to law school, Alexa graduated with an Honours degree in Criminology from York University, earning distinction. She then worked as a court reporter, where she was exposed to a broad spectrum of legal proceedings.
