Megan is a highly experienced civil litigator who has been advising and representing clients across a broad range of complex commercial and construction disputes for close to 20 years. She also offers mediation services, helping parties resolve conflicts efficiently and cost‑effectively outside of court.
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Megan earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Co‑op) with Distinction from Dalhousie University. She began her professional career working in marketing for a geographic information systems company in Alberta before returning to school to pursue law. Megan earned both her Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
Megan maintains a broad‑based civil litigation practice, with a particular focus on construction law, professional liability, and commercial litigation. Her construction law practice includes acting for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in disputes involving construction liens, contract claims, and negligence allegations. She is frequently retained on technically complex matters and is recognized by her peers for her depth of knowledge and practical approach. Megan has been named a leading lawyer in construction law by Best Lawyers in Canada.
