Victor J. Wong

Victor is an associate lawyer with Shibley Righton’s business law group. He has a broad-based corporate/commercial law practice, having helped buyers and sellers close on a number of mergers and acquisitions, and resolve a range of corporate governance, fundraising, and regulatory compliance issues across different industries. From startups to established companies, Victor has negotiated a variety of commercial contracts, handled corporate reorganizations, and guided management teams through all facets of employment and commercial leasing matters.

Victor also has a strong background in administrative law, which sets him apart as a lawyer who can guide businesses in healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and professional services through licensing and compliance matters at all stages of growth.

Prior to joining Shibley Righton, Victor was part of a well-known full-service boutique law firm in Toronto. In his spare time, he runs marathons.
